KCCY/Colorado Springs To Host St. Jude Radiothon This Week

CLEAR CHANNEL Country KCCY (Y96.9)/COLORADO SPRINGS will host its 4th Annual COUNTRY CARES FOR ST. JUDE RADIOTHON this week, from THURSDAY (2/11) through FRIDAY (2/12) from 6a to 7p (MT). The Radiothon raises money for CHILDREN RESEARCH HOSPITAL in MEMPHIS, the world’s premier center for the research and treatment of cancer and other catastrophic childhood diseases.

The last three years, KCCY listeners have raised over $300,000 for ST. JUDE.

Listeners can become a ST. JUDE PARTNER IN HOPE during the Radiothon by calling 1-800-345-HOPE. KCCY will offer incentives throughout the Radiothon to encourage and increase donations, such as autographed guitars by LADY ANTEBELLUM, TIM McGRAW, GEORGE STRAIT, BRAD PASILEY and a trip for two to this year’s CMA AWARDS.

Also, participating COLORADO SPRINGS CHICK-FIL-A restaurants will have designated donation boxes near the registers and will take 15% of all purchases TODAY (2/10) and donate it back to ST. JUDE.
