Compass Media Networks Unveils 2010 NCAA Football Slate

COMPASS MEDIA NETWORKS will enter its second season of NCAA football this fall with 18 top matchups. The season will start for COMPASS on SEPTEMBER 4th with TCU vs OREGON STATE at COWBOYS STADIUM in ARLINGTON, TX, and the season will include PENN STATE-ALABAMA and USC-VIRGINIA on SEPTEMBER 11th; TEXAS-TEXAS TECH on SEPTEMBER 18th; BOISE STATE-OREGON STATE on SEPTEMBER 25th; ALABAMA-FLORIDA and OKLAHOMA-TEXAS on OCTOBER 2nd; STANFORD-USC on OCTOBER 9th; USC-CAL on OCTOBER 16th; IOWA-WISCONSIN on OCTOBER 23rd; USC-OREGON and MICHIGAN-PENN STATE on OCTOBER 30th; PURDUE-WISCONSIN on NOVEMBER 6th; OKLAHOMA-TEXAS TECH NOVEMBER 13th; IOWA-OHIO STATE on NOVEMBER 20th; USC-NOTRE DAME and PENN STATE-MICHIGAN STATE on NOVEMBER 27th; and OREGON-OREGON STATE on DECEMBER 4th.
"The best of the best will be heard this season on COMPASS MEDIA NETWORKS," said COMPASS CEO PETER KOSANN. "We relentlessly pursued the rights to these games and are thrilled to deliver to our listeners, affiliates and advertisers this unprecedented schedule."
"This is great way to celebrate our first anniversary," added KOSANN. "This schedule is tremendous! We are thrilled to bring these great games to our affiliates." The company acquired the rights through a multi-year deal with LEARFIELD COMMUNICATIONS for first right of refusal for national rights to college games.
"Our schedule includes five of the seven conference champions, the defending national champion, USC's home opener, and every week we will broadcast top-ranked teams from some of the country's most historic venues," said COMPASS Sports GM MICHELLE SALVATORE.
