FORBES magazine's annual list of the world's richest people once again includes some radio and music industry figures, with MICROSOFT's BILL GATES leading the list at a net worth of $50 billion and his MICROSOFT co-founder and VULCAN VENTURES/SPORTING NEWS RADIO owner PAUL ALLEN sixth at $22 billion.
Also on the list: MICROSOFT's STEVE BALLMER (24th), COX RADIO owners ANNE COX CHAMBERS and BARBARA COX ANTHONY (29th), VIACOM and CBS CORP.'s SUMNER REDSTONE (63rd), NEWS CORP.'s RUPERT MURDOCH (who owns DUTCH radio's CLASSIC FM and RADIO VERONICA) (84th), NEW YORK Mayor and BLOOMBERG RADIO owner MICHAEL BLOOMBERG ($5.1 billion).
