BROADCASTING CORP. OF AMERICA's KUPA-A/PEARL CITY-HONOLULU will return to the air MARCH 15th, and the station will be bringing back FOX SPORTS RADIO to the market. KUPA has been silent since NOVEMBER 1, 2007, when it lost its transmitter site, with a brief return to maintain the license in NOVEMBER 2008 from a temporary site; it carried FSR for a brief period in 2007. The station will air the entire FOX SPORTS RADIO lineup weekdays and weekends, with the addition of PREMIERE's JIM ROME 6-9a and a repeat of DAN PATRICK, who will air live 3-6a and on tape 9a-noon.
KUPA 1370 General Manager T.J. MALIEVSKY said, "It's a pleasure and privilege to bring the best sports programming on the planet to serve HAWAII's sophisticated sports audience. From JIM ROME to DAN PATRICK, this is the best assembling of sports personalities on the radio today."
