Russel P Named PD At WSM-F As Charley Connolly Exits

CUMULUS Country WSM-F (95.5 THE WOLF)/NASHVILLE PD/morning co-host CHARLEY CONNOLLY has exited. CUMULUS SVP/Programming JAN JEFFRIES has named APD/PM driver RUSSEL P as PD.

JEFFRIES said: "RUSSEL's contribution to the success of THE WOLF/NASHVILLE has been remarkable. During my time of programming THE WOLF/DALLAS on a daily basis, RUSSEL was a key 'go to' person. RICK spent many years in morning drive at SOUTH CENTRAL AC WJXA/NASHVILLE and CITADEL Country WKDF/NASHVILLE. Taking over MARINO's midday show will be CUMULUS sister station KPLX/DALLAS APD/air personality SMOKEY RIVERS, who will be tracking the shift from the big D.
