Former WHUR/DC ND "Mr. Bill" Christian Dies

Condolences to family and friends of former Urban WHUR/WASHINGTON News Director "MR. BILL" CHRISTIAN, who died FEBRUARY 12 of complications from diabetes in WASHINGTON, according to the WASHINGTON POST. CHRISTIAN joined WHUR after serving as Press Secretary for Rep. MORRIS K. UDALL (D-AZ)'s 1976 Presidential campaign, and later worked at WHUR sister TV station WHUT-TV and freelanced at other radio stations in the market.
