Report: Salem To Launch Political Activism Website

THE HILL newspaper is reporting that SALEM will launch a website to promote activism among listeners to its secular conservative talk programming. Former BUSH-CHENEY 2004 web campaignnamager CHUCK DEFEO is working on the site, BEYONDTHENEWS.COM, which will feature podcasts, columns, blogging tools, and "calls to action" to help listsners get involved in political activism. SALEM host HUGH HEWITT has long been at the forefront of political blogging with his HUGHHEWITT.COM website and a book about the blogging phenomenon.
