What's it like for a PD who's not been on the air for a minute to strap himself in the air chair again? "I had a blast," said an excited JOHN REYNOLDS, who's been an off-air OM/PD at CBS Top 40 WNKS & AC WKQC (K104)/CHARLOTTE for a long time.

"It's in my blood and after seven or eight years without doing it, I had so much fun this past SUNDAY (3/14). I did 11a-7p, a six-hour shift, when we ran into a scheduling problem. Not only did I have fun, but, I got to feel the radio station first-hand again, and reacquainted myself with the air talent's environment. All the jocks were calling me and critiquing my sets -- and I showed em how it's done ... again. Trust me, I will do this again, soon! Good re-learning experience." 

Wonder if someone was rolling tape?
