A new stadium tour has just been announced that will feature The EAGLES, KEITH URBAN and the DIXIE CHICKS. The lineup, touring for the first time together, will hit the road on JUNE 8th in TORONTO, followed by JUNE 10th at the new MEADOWLANDS STADIUM in EAST RUTHERFORD, NEW JERSEY.
Aside from being the first time all of these acts have toured together, the announcement should put to bed any rumors that the DIXIE CHICKS are splitting. Two of the CHICKS—MARTIE MAGUIRE and EMILY ROBISON, have a project coming out, called the COURTYARD HOUNDS, without lead singer NATALIE MAINES. The COURT YARD HOUNDS album will be out on MAY 4th.
Tickets for the stadium shows will be available to AMERICAN EXPRESS cardmembers on MARCH 22nd at 10a (ET) at TICKETMASTER outlets, and MARCH 29th for all us little folks using regular old debit cards.
