THE MOODY BIBLE INSTITUTE OF CHICAGO is selling the construction permit for noncommercial KJCG/MISSOULA, MT to HI-LINE RADIO FELLOWSHIP, INC. for $9,000. HI-LINE is also swapping FM translator K208EF/MISSOULA to MOODY for $1,500 and K214AD/MISSOULA.
In another deal filed with the FCC, HORIZON CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP is selling K237EU/MARYVILLE, MO to NODAWAY BROADCASTING CORPORATION for $9,000.
NORTHERN STAR BROADCASTING, L.L.C. has taken Classic Rock WIHC (THE BEAR)/NEWBERRY, MI silent, telling the FCC that the station "has been operating at a loss" and that it will remain silent while the licensee "considers whether it is possible to make the station economically viable." WIHC was not included in NORTHERN STAR's sale of its other properties in upper MICHIGAN to SOVEREIGN COMMUNICATIONS.
KSBJ EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION has filed for a silent STA for FM translator K260BM/SUGAR LAND, TX due to interference issues.
HAWAII PUBLIC RADIO has applied to the FCC for a booster for noncommercial KKUA/WAILUKU, MAUI, HI at HAIKU, MAUI. The 20-watt booster will fill in coverage on MAUI's north shore, where KKUA's signal experiences terrain shadowing.

LARRY FUSS' DELTA RADIO LLC is buying DEBUT BROADCASTING's AC WBAQ (LITE 97.9), Top 40 WIQQ (Q102) and Oldies WNIX-A/GREENVILLE, LA for an undisclosed price.
MIKE MADIGAN will remain GM of the cluster and no changes are planned, with an LMA starting APRIL 1st.
