The MUZAK HEART & SOUL FOUNDATION has announced that they are partnering with BELMONT UNIVERSITY to bring their “NOISE! Music Camp” to the BELMONT campus in NASHVILLE from JULY 18th-28th. Students ages 15-17 with a passion for music and an interest in a career in the music industry are encouraged to apply at www.heart.muzak.com. Applications are due by FRIDAY (4/2).
Several students from last year’s “NOISE! Music Camp” were recently in attendance at MUZAK’s event, the 4th Annual CAROLINAS BATTLE OF THE BANDS, held in CHARLOTTE, NC on MARCH 13th. KIRSTEN BROWNE, from CONCORD, N.C., won first prize at this year’s competition, which included premium professional studio time to record a demo, subscriptions to SONICBIDS.COM and ONLINEGIGS.COM, a song on a MUZAK program heard by over 100 million people every day, a $100 music store gift certificate, a video of the competition and 200 copies of the artist’s demo produced by MUZAK for distribution.
