Ankarlo Exits KTAR-F/Phoenix

BONNEVILLE Talk KTAR-F (NEWS TALK 92.3 KTAR)/PHOENIX midday host DARRELL ANKARLO has exited the station. A message on ANKARLO's FACEBOOK page stated, "To answer everyone's questions ... KTAR and DARRELL sadly parted ways today. You have been awesome thank you for all your love and support!"  PD RUSS HILL went on the air TODAY to talk about ANKARLO's departure.

ANKARLO has been off for the last month and spent a large part of 2009 off the air recovering from a brain injury suffered in a car accident in APRIL 2009.  He returned full-time in SEPTEMBER 2009.  His resume includes stops at WWTN (SUPER TALK 99.7 WTN)/NASHVILLE, KLIF-A/DALLAS, and KTRS-A/ST. LOUIS.

Could the next occupant of the 9a-noon slot be a familiar name from around the market?  Stay tuned....
