FCC Reschedules FM Auction

The FCC has recheduled FM Auction No. 62. Originally slated to take place 11/1/05, the Commission has moved the auction to 1/12/06. The FCC is pushing its anti-collusion policy, warning potential bidders on the 171 licenses available that communicating with one another about "bids, bidding strategies, or settlements" is strictly prohibited. Upfront payments are now due by 12/2/05, and application status updates will be made public an estimated 2 weeks before the new deadline.
