At a FRIDAY morning NAB RADIO SHOW panel on "Less is More" and its effect on programmers, CLEAR CHANNEL's KEVIN METHENY responded to the idea that the ARBITRON PPM can measure audience by the spot by noting that "crappy-sounding commercials drive people away" and decrying the poor content of some commercials. Panelist LEIGH JACOBS of CREATIVE MASS MEDIA said that TSL for the "LIM" stations is up 10%, althougha cause-and-effect relationship has not yet been established.
