Listeners of PILLAR OF FIRE Christian AC WAWZ (STAR 99.1)/NEW YORK CITY sponsored 548 children with COMPASSION INTERNATIONAL during a campaign last WEDNESDAY (4/7) and THURSDAY (4/8). A majority of the children sponsored live in HAITI. They will receive medical care, food and psychological assistance following the trauma of the JANUARY 12th earthquake.

“We are always amazed at how much our STAR 99.1 family can and will give to help others. The lives of 548 kids in the COMPASSION INTERNATIONAL program will be changed forever and I am very grateful," said Station Manager SCOTT TAYLOR.
