UNIVERSITY OF NORTH DAKOTA sports will remain on CLEAR CHANNEL's BISMARCK-MANDAN stations under a three-year contract renewal between the cluster and the FIGHTING SIOUX RADIO NETWORK. Most game broadcasts will air on Talk KFYR-A or Sports KXMR-A (ESPN 710).
"We are excited about renewing our partnership with CLEAR CHANNEL BISMARCK and we know that their group of stations will be a tremendous home for FIGHTING SIOUX radio broadcasts," said UND Dir./Athletics BRIAN FAISON. "One of the most important aspects to this agreement is the return of FIGHTING SIOUX hockey broadcasts to the airwaves in BISMARCK."
"We are tremendously proud to be the radio home for FIGHTING SIOUX sports in BISMARCK-MANDAN," said CLEAR CHANNEL BISMARCK GM BOB DENVER. "Once again we are excited to be affiliated with UND athletics. UND alumni have been clamoring for this. Our expansive coverage area makes it possible for many more fans to enjoy the FIGHTING SIOUX."
