A MANHATTAN CRIMINAL COURT jury convicted homeless man RONALD MARTIN of stalking WABC-A/NEW YORK weekend host and MSNBC personality MONICA CROWLEY FRIDAY.
MARTIN was found guilty of two misdemeanor counts of second degree aggravated harassment and two misdemeanor counts of fourth degree stalking and was acquitted of one other harassment count. He could get up to two years in jail when sentenced on MAY 2; he was released without bail pending the sentencing hearing, but Judge ARLENE SILVERMAN issued a protection order ordering MARTIN to stay away from CROWLEY.
And in happier news, CROWLEY's show is going into syndication through WESTWOOD ONE, effective APRIL 1, for SATURDAYS Noon-3p ET. Besides WABC, WTKK/BOSTOn and WTNT-A/WASHINGTON have signed up for the show.
