HIGHLANDS BROADCASTING CORPORATION is selling Talk WKYH-A/PAINTSVILLE, KY to S.I.P. BROADCASTING COMPANY, INC. (KEY BROADCASTING, INC.) for $120,000 cash plus $10,000 in an advertising credit for spots on WKYH (75%) and new sister Country WSIP-F (25%).

In other deals filed with the FCC, EDGEWATER BROADCASTING, INC. is selling FM translator W279BD/THOMASVILLE, GA to LENROB ENTERPRISES, INC. for $27,500; EDGEWATER is also selling K237EQ/FARMINGTON, NM to IHR EDUCATIONAL BROADCASTING for $21,300; and HORIZON CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP is selling K279AP/BETHANY, MO to DEAN GOODMAN's CAMERON/BETHANY LICENSE CO, LLC (GOODRADIO.TV) for $10,000.

In silent STA filings, FAMILY STATIONS has asked for an extension of its STA to keep FM translator W240AQ/MYRTLE BEACH silent because, after equipment failure took the station dark last JULY 8th, the station lost its least and mus move to a new site; and MINNESOTA PUBLIC RADIO has asked for an extension to keep K237ET/NEW ULM, MN off the air while its new site is built.
