WBAM's John Garrett Targeted In Murder-For-Hire Plot

BLUEWATER BROADCASTING Country WBAM/MONTGOMERY, AL middayer JOHN GARRETT is breathing a sigh of relief, after 32-year-old MICHAEL TALLEY was arrested SATURDAY (5/1) for allegedly trying to have GARRETT killed. The motive behind the murder-for-hire plot is believed to be jealousy, as GARRETT recently married TALLEY’s ex-girlfriend HEIDI. 

Sources tell WSFA-TV/MONTGOMERY that TALLEY offered the alleged hit man around $2,400 to kill GARRETT. The MONTGOMERY COUNTY SHERIFF says that the middle man never had any intention of going with the plan and immediately reported TALLEY to the authorities.

GARRETT said: “I never dreamed of this. Who does? I am very grateful for my good fortune.”
