THOMAS TROLAND is selling his 51% interest in DUNES 102FM LLC, licensee of Oldies WGTX (DUNES 102FM)/TRURO, MA (CAPE COD), to his partners RON ROBIN and EDMUND TEO for $450,000. ROBIN, presently 25% owner, and TEO, 24% owner, will each end up with 50% of the company after consummation of the deal.
WHKT/Norfolk Sale Closes
CHESAPEAKE-PORTSMOUTH BROADCASTING has closed on the purchase of silent WHKT-A/NORFOLK from RADIO DISNEY for $350,000.
BILL SCHUTZ served as broker for RADIO DISNEY, while JOHN PIERCE AND CO., LLC served as broker for the buyer.In another deal filed with the FCC, COMMUNITY PUBLIC RADIO, INC. is selling the construction permit for a new noncommercial FM at BOZEMAN, MT to BOZEMAN CHRISTIAN EDUCATION STATION, INC. for $18,000.
NASSAU BROADCASTING III, L.L.C. has applied to the FCC for a silent STA for Sports WNHV-A (THE SCORE)/WHITE RIVER JUNCTION, VT. The station has gone dark due to failure of it transmission system; NASSAU has asked for six months to repair the station and resume operations.
And PULASKI BROADCASTING, INC. has applied for a booster signal for its Country WKSR-F/LORETTO, TN at PULASKI, TN. The booster would use 219 watts at 213 meters AMSL.
