OCEAN SIDE BROADCASTING, INC. is selling the permit for noncommercial, silent KGCQ/KIMBALL, NE to VIC MICHAEL's CEDAR COVE BROADCASTING, INC. for $5,000.
In other filings with the FCC, LIFETALK RADIO is donating noncommercial religion KOPJ/SEBEKA, MN to WE HAVE THIS HOPE CHRISTIAN RADIO, INC. for no consideration as a charitable contribution.
HILLTOP CHURCH is selling Variety KHGQ (K-HOG)/QUINCY, CA to SIERRA RADIO, INC. for $50,000.
GREGORY J. SMITH's BLACK HILLS BROADCASTING, LP is applying to allocate 96.5 FM to GEARHART, OR and has applied concurrently for a new FM under that allocation. The station would broadcast with 6,000 watts from a tower south of GEARHART near the ocean.
And ARNOLD BROADCASTING COMPANY, INC. has taken KECK/LAMAR, CO off the air, "to prevent continuing operating losses while it seeks a buyer for the station," according to the station's FCC Silent STA filing.
