Astral Applies to Move CKGR-A/Golden, BC to FM Dial

ASTRAL MEDIA RADIO has applied to the CRTC to move CKGR-A/GOLDEN, BC to the FM band at 106.3 MHz with 8.900 watts, using an AC format.  The station presently rebroadcasts ASTRAL's AC CKXR (91.5 EZ ROCK)/SALMON ARM, BC.

In other applications filed with the CRTC, MY BROADCASTING CORP. has applied for a new Oldies-based AC FM at 94.1 in ST. THOMAS, ON.

5777152 MANITOBA LTD. is applying for a new Pop FM at 103.3 in VIRDEN, MB.

And HALIBURTON BROADCASTING GROUP is buying Classic Hits CJJM (JOCO FM)/ESPANOLA, ON from JOCO COMMUNICATIONS for C$125,000.
