Following the first “CRS: One on One” mentoring session in MAY (NET NEWS 4/19), COUNTRY RADIO BROADCASTERS has announced a JUNE 18th follow-up installment, focusing on new media marketing opportunities at radio. Senior Director, Strategic Marketing for SONY MUSIC NASHVILLE PAUL WILLIAMS and BROADJAM CEO ROY ELKINS will be the session’s featured speakers.
Attendees will learn about improving their radio station’s marketing efforts through new media initiatives and technology and gaining a better understanding of how consumers and listeners are using that technology. Twelve Country radio marketers will be chosen for the session, which will take place from 10a-2p (CT) on JUNE 18th at the CRB offices in NASHVILLE.
CRB Executive Director BILL MAYNE said: “After the success and feedback from our first ‘One on One’ event, we moved quickly to organize another installment. We felt like the new media marketing angle was something that is relevant to every single radio station in the country, so we recruited two of the best and brightest on the subject, PAUL WILLIAMS and ROY ELKINS, to discuss that topic with our next batch of attendees.”
Interested radio marketers must submit an application before FRIDAY, JUNE 4th at 5p (CT). Applications may be found at www.crb.org. Eligible applicants must have radio marketing experience (any market size) and pay a $59 participation fee, which includes lunch during the session. A random lottery system drawing will determine the 12 accepted applicants. Those accepted will be notified and listed on the CRB website no later than JUNE 7th.
