Arbitron Declares Dividend, Re-Elects Eight Board Members

ARBITRON's board of directors has approved a 10 cents/common share dividend, payable JULY 1st to shareholders of record on JUNE 15th.
In addition, at TUESDAY's shareholders' meeting, the company re-elected eight board members, METRICSTREAM CEO SHELLYE L. ARCHAMBEAU; former MOTOROLA EVP/CFO DAVID W. DEVONSHIRE; former NIELSEN MEDIA RESEARCH Pres./CEO JOHN A. DIMLING; former GM executive and current PG VENTURES Chairman/CEO PHILIP GUARASCIO; ARIBTRON Pres./CEO WILLIAM T. KERR; former HONEYWELL SVP/Technology and Operations LARRY E. KITTELBERGER; NOGALES INVESTORS LLC Managing Partner LUIS G. NOGALES; and former AUTOBYTEL INC. Pres./CEO RICHARD A. POST. All were elected for one-year terms.
Stockholders also voted to approve an amendment to and restatement of the Company's 2008 Equity Compensation Plan and an amendment to the Company's Employee Stock Purchase Plan, as well as ratifying KPMG LLP as the company's independent registered public accounting firm for 2010.
