A renovated auditorium at the UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA will be named after a pair of radio station owners after they each donated $500,000 to the renovation efforts. CURTIS MEDIA GROUP's DON CURTIS, a TAR HEEL alumnus whose daughter also graduated from the school, and BEASLEY BROADCASTING's GEORGE BEASLEY, who attended the school briefly and whose son is a UNC grad, will be honored in the new name of MEMORIAL HALL. The building has undergone $18 million in renovations.
