Former CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40 WXXL (XL 106.7)/ORLANDO afternoon-night stalker STICK ON THE RADIO is back on the radio at BORDER MEDIA Top 40 KTFM/SAN ANTONIO taking MD/afternoon duties, starting TODAY (6/1).
BORDER VP/English Programming MARK LANDIS told ALL ACCESS, "STICK is terrific! He's passionate about music, programming and radio. His being here is the result of a long national search for the person with all of the right skills to continue to bring live and local personality radio back to the market. KTFM is live and local now from 6a-7p, and we know that having a personality like STICK who lives the lifestyle of our 18-34 target audience and can go make appearances and win fans face to face, will make all of the difference in the world for us."
STICK told ALL ACCESS, "I'm just stoked that MARK LANDIS rescued me from the beach. I'm excited to get started at KTFM and look forward to my reunion with WOODY whom I worked with at the now defunct Z95.7 in SAN FRANCISCO. He woke me up when I did nights there, I'm sure he'll call and harass my sleep schedule in SAN ANTONIO as well.
"While I have had the honor of working for some of AMERICA's elite Top 40 stations, we have a unique opportunity with KTFM. The call letters have heritage in the market, my hope is to add to its legacy and write a new chapter in its history."
