Noncommercial Talk WNYC-A- Classical WNYC-F/NEW YORK is moving its studios from the station's only home for its 81 year history.
CRAIN'S NEW YORK BUSINESS reports that the stations are moving from the city's Municipal Building at Centre and Chambers Street in LOWER MANHATTAN to the 10 Hudson Square building on Varick Street in SOHO under a 20 year lease. The move, to take place over the next 12 to 18 months, gives the formerly-city-owned stations nearly 25% more space, including a performance space on the building's ground floor.
