A JACOBS MEDIA and ARBITRON study examining how consumers are using mobile devices will be revealed during the 2010 RADIO SHOW held SEPTEMBER 29th-OCTOBER 1st at the WASHINGTON CONVENTION CENTER. Titled "Goin' Mobile," the Super Session will be held at 9a on SEPTEMBER 30th, and will examine how the recent explosion of mobile devices has changed the way Americans consume media.
"JACOBS MEDIA is thrilled to present our newest ethnographic study -- 'Goin' Mobile' at the 2010 RADIO SHOW," said JACOBS Pres. FRED JACOBS, who was just featured as an ALL ACCESS Power Player. "Thanks to our partners at ARBITRON, it's a breakthrough study focused on the digital hot spot -- mobile. We'll take RADIO SHOW attendees into cars, bars, workplace, and homes to show the pervasive impact of smartphones and their implications on the future of radio."
ARBITRON SVP/Marketing BILL ROSE added, "Nothing is more mobile than radio, and this exciting research showcases that radio is ideally suited to leverage converging and emerging mobile platforms -- and to drive even greater impact to consumers' lives."
