Gammell Named News Director At Bonneville Seattle

BONNEVILLE SEATTLE has upped MYNORTHWEST.COM Online Content Manager PETE GAMMELL to News Director for the cluster, including Talk KIRO-F (NEWS TALK 97.3 KIRO), Sports KIRO-A (710 ESPN SEATTLE), Talk KTTH-A (THE TRUTH), and MYNORTHWEST.COM.  GAMMELL is in his second stint with the stations; he worked at KIRO-A as morning news desk assistant, editor, and weekend reporter in 1999-2005.  He left to join CBS RADIO News KCBS-A/SAN FRANCISCO as Associate News Director, then returned to BONNEVILLE SEATTLE in 2008.

"We are generating more news, from more places, than ever before. We break news stories on our talk shows, our blogs, our social media sites, and also in our newsroom", said GAMMELL.  "Our opportunity is to harness all of this content and distribute it via multiple channels."
