Alysse Stewart Joins WGIV-A

ALYSSE STEWART is returning to the airwaves in CHARLOTTE with a daily show 3-5p (ET) on FRANK NEELY's Talk-Gospel WGIV-A-F/CHARLOTTE, starting JUNE 14th, which shifts to an Urban AC direction.  

STEWART, most recently hosting an Internet show for alternative weekly paper CREATIVE LOAFING and before that at crosstown CBS RADIO Urban AC WBAV (V101.9), will cover everyday life on her new show, including relationship talk, healthy living, entertainment news, the community vibe and life with her 2-year-old son DURRELL BABBS JR.

"Radio is my passion.  I've missed cracking the microphone and sharing with a listening audience.  I'm grateful for the opportunity that WGIV has extended me to shine on the airwaves once again," said STEWART. "When I think of all the possibilities this time around, my heart beats a little faster.  Radio -- it's what I'm meant to do."
