HORIZON CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP is selling FM translator K218CU/DELPHI, WA to HISPANIC FAMILY CHRISTIAN NETWORK, INC. for $15,000.
In closings, NORTHEAST INDIANA PUBLIC RADIO has closed on the sale of noncommercial WCKZ/ORLAND, IN and its translator W204BF/FORT WAYNE to STAR EDUCATIONAL MEDIA NETWORK for $225,000. WCKZ's simulcast partner WBNI/ROANOKE, IN remains on the block.
The part of the deal splitting VISIONARY RELATED ENTERTAINMENT LLC into two entities that gave partner JOHN DETZ Hawaiian KHEI-F (RADIO IMUA), Talk KAOI-A, Country KDLX, AC KAOI-F (I FM), and Hawaiian/Reggae KNUQ (Q103), translators K277AW, K277AX, K244AG, and K244DN, and booster KNUQ-FM1/MAUI has closed. DETZ gave former partner JASON WOLFF's FRONTIER RADIO INVESTORS a $500,000 10-year promissory note in the deal, and got $123,000 reimbursement and expenses.
And HORIZON CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP has closed on the sale of FM translator W236BK/FOREST HILLS, MI to WYGR, LLC for $25,000.
