The UNIVERSITY OF THE PACIFIC's noncommercial KUOP/STOCKTON, CA has been pulled off the market by the school for at least a year because the station drew disappointing offers from potential buyers. The STOCKTON RECORD reports that the school hoped to raise money to help fund a $30 million student center and a $20 million biological sciences center but will wait to see if the offers are better a year from now. KUOP is operated by CAPITAL PUBLIC RADIO and owned by the college.
