Darren Pfeffer Rises At Clear Channel/New York

CLEAR CHANNEL/NEW YORK has upped DARREN PFEFFER to Dir./Marketing and Promotions for the NEW YORK cluster. He will be responsible for overseeing promotional and marketing efforts at Top 40 WHTZ (Z100), Urban WWPR (POWER 105.1), AC WLTW (106.7 LITE FM), Classic Rock WAXQ (Q104.3) and Top 40/R WKTU (103.5 KTU), and will report to SVP/Programming TOM POLEMAN and Pres./Market Mgr. JOE PUGLISE.

"Over the past 15 years, DARREN has held virtually every position in marketing and promotion at all five of our NEW YORK radio stations. From driving the station van to producing Z100’s Jingle Ball, DARREN has done it all, and at the highest of standards," said POLEMAN. "DARREN is an outstanding leader with a wealth of experience and creativity. We look forward to having him lead the NEW YORK cluster to new heights in this role."

PFEFFER is also the Exec. Producer of Z100’s Jingle Ball and Lite FM’s Broadway in Bryant Park, a position he will continue to hold.
