PARAGON MEDIA STRATEGIES, in conjunction with RICK SCOTT & ASSOCIATES, recently conducted an online survey of 844 male Sports Talk fans, ages 25-54, living in the U.S. and CANADA. The study explores why the Sport Talk station is their favorite and examines the importance of various sports entertainment elements.
Among the findings:
When asked "Why Sports Talk Is Their Favorite," men said:
-- Personalities on the station (39%)
-- Love sports/sports talk (28%)
-- Mixture of sports and entertainment (17%)
-- Specific shows on station (11%)
-- Coverage of specific sport/team (11%)In terms of "Importance Of Sports Entertainment Elements," the subjects responded thusly:
-- Fun hosts (90%)
-- Host who share opinions (80%)
-- Sports news and scores (69%)
-- Interviews (68%)
