KFPW Adds Local Morning Show

New Wakeup Show

PHARIS Talk KFPW-A/FORT SMITH, AR launches a new local morning show, "ARKLAHOMA TODAY," beginning TODAY (7/26), according to THE CITY WIRE. The show will be anchored by station owner BILL PHARIS with News Dir. STEVE RINKE and news from CBS affiliate KFSM-TV and ARKANSAS RADIO NETWORK.

The new show is aimed at filling the local news block gap left by the cancellation of the longtime "ARKLAHOMA AM" show on crosstown CLEAR CHANNEL Talk KWHN-A/FORT SMITH in the wake of host GARY ELMORE's JUNE 7th death. KWHN now airs TALK RADIO NETWORK's "AMERICA'S MORNING NEWS" in the morning drive slot (NET NEWS 7/20).
