Radio Hall Of Fame Announces '10 Inductees

The NATIONAL RADIO HALL OF FAME announced its 2010 inductees, and VOCALO.ORG's ROBERT FEDER reports that the winners include:
National - Active: longtime NPR news anchor and "WAIT WAIT... DON'T TELL ME" announcer/judge CARL KASELL
Local/Regional - Active: CBS Triple A WXRT/CHICAGO's TERRI HEMMERT
Local/Regional - Pioneer: NASHVILLE fixture RALPH EMERY
National - Pioneer: the MORMON TABERNACLE CHOIR's "MUSIC AND THE SPOKEN WORD"
Chosen by the Steering Committee: RADIO ONE founder CATHY HUGHES and SUN RECORDS founder SAM PHILLIPSAmong those not making the cut were HOWARD STERN, STEVE DAHL, BOB BRINKER, BOB KINGSLEY, GARY BURBANK, RONN OWENS, and several others. The induction ceremony will take place NOVEMBER 6th in CHICAGO.
