BONNEVILLE/WASHINGTON, D.C. and THE WASHINGTON POST today debuted their joint venture station, WTWP-A-F (WASHINGTON POST RADIO)/WASHINGTON, D.C. (see NET NEWS 3/15, 2/27, 2/8, 2/6, 2/1, and 1/20). Beyond serving as a news outlet which will draw on the resources and staff of sister News outlet WTOP-A-F and THE WASHINGTON POST, the station -- headed by PD GREG TANTUM and JIM FARLEY -- will also be the flagship of the WASHINGTON NATIONALS (NET NEWS 1/20).
As previously reported on ALL ACCESS, here's how the station lineup looks at launch:
5:30a-10a -- MIKE MOSS
10-noon -- HILLARY HOWARD
noon-3p -- SAM LITZINGER (with the POST POLITICS HOUR at 1p)
3-7p -- BOB KUROn weekends, DAVID BURD will host a morning program from 7a-11a on both SATURDAY and SUNDAY, while WARREN BROWN will host a show on SATURDAY from 11-1p, and BOB LEVEY will host 11a-1p on SUNDAY.
WTWP-A-F features AP RADIO NEWS as its audio foundation.
