GREGG SUSSMAN of MANALAPAN, NJ has won CBS RADIO Sports WFAN-A/NEW YORK's "Fantasy Phenom Challenge" talent contest and will get a chance to host his own weekly show on the station. SUSSMAN beat out four challengers, JOHN SHEA of WANTAGH, NY; OTIS HARPER of ROSELLE, NJ; PATRICK CREIGHTON of BETHPAGE, NY; and AL RENAUTO of WHITE PLAINS, NY, who will each get a chance to host a single show on WFAN. The finals took place on MIKE FRANCESA's afternoon show FRIDAY (8/27) live from BAR ANTICIPATION ("BAR A") in BELMAR, NJ.
"It's honestly a dream come true and I'm thrilled to be given this opportunity of a lifetime, said SUSSMAN.
"This year's WFAN BUFFALO WILD WINGS Fantasy Phenom challenge proved to be a rewarding experience," said CBS RADIO NEW YORK VP/Programming and WFAN OM MARK CHERNOFF. "Congratulations to all of our participants and in particular our five finalists and grand prize winner GREGG SUSSMAN. There was a lot of talent out there -- so much so that along with our grand prize winner having the opportunity to host a show once a week for a year on the FAN, each of the other finalists will get the opportunity to host a show as a runner-up prize."
