ABC Tops Radar 86

ABC DAYTIME DIRECTION NETWORK tops the ARBITRON RADAR 86 SEPTEMBER 2005 radio network ratings covering the period JULY 1, 2004-JUNE 22, 2005. ABC DAYTIME DIRECTION lead the 51 networks with a 3.3 12+. ABC PRIME ACCESS RADIO NETWORK finished second with a 2.7. Rounding out the Top 5 were ABC MORNING NEWS RADIO NETWORK, WESTWOOD CBS NEW PRIMETIME NETWORK, and JONES MEDIAAMERICA TWC RADIO NETWORK with a 2.3, respectively. 

RADAR 86 includes the debut of ABC HISPANIC ADVANTAGE NETWORK and PREMIERE FOX NEWS. The two new networks debuted at 41st and 43rd, respectively. The sample size for RADAR 86 increased 5,000 to 90,000. During the survey period, 78% of Persons 25-54 heard one or more network radio commercials in the course of a week on the 51 radio networks.
