CAPITOL/NASHVILLE artist DIERKS BENTLEY and COLUMBIA/NASHVILLE’s MIRANDA LAMBERT appeared on ABC-TV’s “Good Morning AMERICA” this morning (9/1) to reveal the five final categories of nominees for the 44th Annual CMA AWARDS.
The five categories of nominees revealed this morning are:

"Till The End" ALAN JACKSON with LEE ANN WOMACKRCA/NASHVILLE’s CHRIS YOUNG, VALORY MUSIC CO. artist JUSTIN MOORE and BIG MACHINE duo STEEL MAGNOLIA announced the first seven categories of nominees and the BROADCAST AWARD nominees at the RYMAN AUDITORIUM in NASHVILLE YESTERDAY (NET NEWS 8/31).
MIRANDA LAMBERT leads the pack with nine nominations total, the most for any female artist in the history of the CMA AWARDS. ALAN JACKSON received 10 nominations in 2002, and prior to that, MERLE HAGGARD held the record with nine in 1970.
