CBS RADIO WQYK/TAMPA is bringing back comedian/air personality CLEDUS T. JUDD, signing JUDD to a multi-year agreement to co-host the WQYK morning show. CLEDUS exited the station previously in late 2007 and joined CLEAR CHANNEL Country WUBL (THE BULL)/ATLANTA, where he exited almost a year later to concentrate on his comedy career.
Starting tomorrow (FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 3rd), CLEDUS joins current morning host DAVE McKAY.
In addition to his radio career, JUDD is known for his parody of Country songs, including the spoof “I Love NASCAR,” of TOBY KEITH’s “I Love This Bar, “Paycheck Woman,” the spoof of GRETCHEN WILSON’s “Redneck Woman,” and many others. He has also been host of CMT’s “Most Wanted Live,” and co-hosted "Nashville Star.”
“It's really exciting to have CLEDUS co-hosting mornings for us back home on WQYK where he belongs,” said Operations Manager/Program Director for WQYK MIKE CULOTTA.
The show can be streamed live from 5-10a (ET) at www.wqyk.com.
