GREATER MEDIA Sports WPEN-A-F (97.5 THE FANATIC)/PHILADELPHIA has joined the long list of stations selling "naming rights" to its studio with a one-year contract with XFINITY, the cable television and broadband ISP operator owned by COMCAST. The station's shows will come from the "XFINITY Studios" and guests will autograph an "XFINITY Chair" in the studio to be auctioned off for charity.
"COMCAST was looking for an innovative communications technology platform to highlight the additional choice and control XFINITY delivers to consumers," said GREATER MEDIA PHILADELPHIA Dir./National Sales MATT COWPER. "Partnering with PHILLY's first FM sports station, WPEN/97.5 THE FANATIC, gives XFINITY the opportunity to reach consumers in a new, unique, engaging and innovative way. The partnership highlights the benefits of both brands giving PHILADELPHIA consumers a new choice for sports and entertainment."
