Rumors became reality on MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 6th, as first predicted by ALL ACCESS (NET NEWS 9/3). CLEAR CHANNEL Rhythmic AC WWVA (105-7 THE GROOVE)/ATLANTA did begin simulcasting on sister Classic Country WWLG (96.7 THE LEGEND), which a knowledgeable market observer said "would fill a signal hole for 105.7 in their coverage."
This simulcast on 96.7 gives THE GROOVE coverage south of I-20.
SVPP CLAY HUNNICUTT told ALL ACCESS, "We're putting 105.7 THE GROOVE on 96.7 FM as well in a simulcast. 96.7 THE LEGEND will move off the 96.7 frequency and continue to exist on 94.9 THE BULL's HD-2 signal."
