Jamey Johnson Headed To 'Letterman' And 'Imus'

MERCURY/NASHVILLE artist JAMEY JOHNSON will perform “Lonely at the Top” on the LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN THURSDAY (9/9). The song was written by DON COOK, CHICK RAINES and the late KEITH WHITLEY but was never previously recorded.
On SEPTEMBER 8th, JAMEY is a guest and will perform on IMUS IN THE MORNING, later that night he will perform at JOE’S PUB as part of the CMA SONGWRITERS SERIES (NET NEWS 7/12). On SEPTEMBER 9th, in addition to his performance on LETTERMAN, he will headline a show at the HIGHLINE BALLROOM.
JOHNSON’s double album “The Guitar Song” will be in stores on SEPTEMBER 14th. In the meantime, iTUNES Countdown to “The Guitar Song” program gives consumers the opportunity to purchase select tracks and receive credit towards the full album purchase at iTUNES on street date.
