PEAK BROADCASTING staged a hot air balloon festival over LABOR DAY weekend. To commemorate the 100-year anniversary of flight in IDAHO, early 30 magnificently colored hot air balloons rose into the sky from ANN MORRISON PARK from THURSDAY through SUNDAY.
The extravaganza also featured a "Night Glow Light Show" and live music concert. For added enjoyment, PEAK BROADCASTING staff painted six Porta-Potties with station logos, and the balloonist tried to knock them over to get points.
"Events like this bring our community together and remind us all what a special place we live in," PEAK BROADCASTING/BOISE SVP/Market Manager KEVIN GODWIN said.
