Lady A And Kris Kristofferson Added To Stand Up To Cancer Telethon

CAPITOL/NASHVILLE trio LADY ANTEBELLUM and singer/songwriter legend KRIS KRISTOFFERSON are among the artists who have been added to the STAND UP TO CANCER telethon on FRIDAY (9/10). LANCE ARMSTRONG, ROBIN ROBERTS AND MICHAEL C. HALL, MAURA TIERNEY, CHRISTINA APPLEGATE and KAREEM ABDUL-JABBAR, who have all faced cancer, will be featured for the event.

RCA/NASHVILLE artist MARTINA McBRIDE will perform, along with STEVIE WONDER, NATASHA BEDINGFIELD, QUEEN LATIFAH, AARON NEVILLE, DAVE STEWART and more.
The STAND UP TO CANCER telethon will air commercial-free from 8-9p (ET) on FRIDAY (9/10) on ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC. The telethon event helped deliver more than $100 million for research in 2008.
