Ofcom Grants License For French Digital Station In London

FRENCH RADIO LONDON LTD. has been granted a license by U.K. radio regulator OFCOM for a new digital radio station serving LONDON. RADIO FRANCAISE DE LONDRES will air programming in French, with an 80-20 music-to-talk ratio and a minimum of 70% French music.
In addition, RAINBOW CHRISTIAN RADIO has been licensed as a digital Radio Licensable Content Service, offering Christian music "within the context of the African culture, in English and Akan."
And TOTAL STAR SOMERSET has been granted two additional relay transmitters to extend the station's coverage in the WEST SOMERSET area.
