Sirius XM And NPR Broadcast Americana Music Festival

SIRIUS XM’S OUTLAW COUNTRY channel will broadcast from NASHVILLE during the annual AMERICANA MUSIC FESTIVAL & CONFERENCE. TODAY (9/9) from 7:30p-11:30p (ET). Listeners can hear a live broadcast of the AMERICANA MUSIC ASSOCIATION’S HONORS & AWARDS SHOW in DOWNTOWN NASHVILLE, featuring performances by EMMYLOU HARRIS, THE AVETT BROTHERS, RODNEY CROWELL, RYAN BINGHAM, ROSANNE CASH, PATTY GRIFFIN and more.

SIRIUS XM host MOJO NIXON, “The Loon in the Afternoon,” will also broadcast live from SIRIUS XM’s NASHVILLE studio talking with special guests throughout the festival, including a special performance with SHELBY LYNNE and TONY JOE WHITE sharing the stage of the SIRIUS XM theater in the BRIDGESTONE ARENA tower on FRIDAY (9/10) at 6p (ET).

OUTLAW COUNTRY broadcasts on SIRIUS channel 63 and XM channel 12. 

The AMERICANA MUSIC ASSOCIATION’S HONORS & AWARDS SHOW will also webcast on NPR RADIO and partner station FOLK ALLEY starting at 7:30p (ET). NPR will have the ceremony archived and available for on-demand listening at www.npr.org/music as well as from its iPHONE app.
