Congratulations to CITADEL Hot AC WRQX (MIX 107.3)/WASHINGTON morning star JACK DIAMOND, who is beginning his 21st year of The JACK DIAMOND Morning Show on the station.

Said DIAMOND, "It has been an amazing two decades. We have had everyone from Presidents to PAUL MCCARTNEY on the show. Many talented people have also been a part of the show through the years, and I am grateful for their contributions. Hell, my kids have had the good fortune of going to the same school for all of their young lives. For that alone, I am thankful. A big thank you to NORM SCHRUTT, MAUREEN LESOURD and dear friend DON BENSON, all from our ABC days, and all instrumental in plucking me from the warm bosom of SAN DIEGO, and starting me on the greatest journey in my radio career here in the NATION'S CAPITAL. Thank you to MICHAEL EISNER, MITCH DOLAN and TOM CUDDY from our ABC/DISNEY days, and FARID SULEMAN and SCOTT SHANNON for allowing us to continue the show under their reign. I am humbled, grateful and thankful for all who have taught me many valuable lessons about radio and life."
