LISTENER DRIVEN RADIO now allows radio stations additional audience building opportunities with direct online integration into over 280 social networks including FACEBOOK, TWITTER, FRIENDSTER, and MYSPACE. Since LDR's inception, the LDR team has increased social network integration capabilities from 80 on its original platform to now adding custom integration to well over 200 additional social networks including a full compliment of Spanish-speaking networks.
"LDR builds cume and tune-ins for radio stations using social media," said LDR Pres. DANIEL ANSTANDIG. "We have seen that for every one listener who uses the FACEBOOK feature on LDR, an average of four listeners come back to the station’s website, confirming that LDR’s social networking integration is a powerful cume builder for stations. We are confident that the addition of these new social networking features and our instant alert system will offer significant value to our affiliates."
Anstandig further commented, "LDR has had TWITTER as one of its features since its inception, despite the fact that other platforms like JELLI are trying to make TWITTER sound like something new to radio. We believe the real story is the 279 social networking platforms beyond TWITTER that are part of LDR. Growing cume requires a multiplicity of channels. You must go where the audience is, and in 2010, one channel is not enough."
